JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, who has transformed into a chaebol (T/N: Korean term used to indicate member of a wealthy Korean family that runs a major company), revealed that while he is thankful of the fans’ favorable responses, it makes him want to become a better actor even more.
On the first episode of SBS TV’s “Protect the Boss” (aired August 3rd), Kim Jaejoong received good reviews by enthusiastically performing his role as chaebol Cha Muwon. In response, Kim Jaejoong stated through his agency, “I greatly thank the viewers for their favorable reviews.”
Furthermore, Kim Jaejoong added, “but hearing these good reviews makes me want to become even better at acting. I will work even harder to bring out an even more positive response.”
In “Protect the Boss,” Kim Jaejoong appears as the cousin and rival of the president’s son, Cha Jihyun (Jisung). In the drama, Kim Jaejoong is the company’s director of headquarters, and is portrayed as a person who gathers much attention from the female employees.
During an interview, Kim Jaejoong keeps an eye on Noh Eunsul (Chae Kanghee), who criticizes the interviewers who consider only a person’s background and don’t even give her a chance to speak, and specially employees her. As a response, other female employees become jealous of No Eunsul.
