(+) UPDATE (7/13/2011): [NOTICE] Important changes to withJYJ

Hello everyone, I hope you’ve all been having a great summer so far.

Unfortunately, the summer is nearing its end and after much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to bring somewhat significant changes to withJYJ.

I never meant “withJYJ” to be a permanent site. I knew starting this fall, there would be a major change in my life and I would become extremely busy. I therefore started the blog earlier this year largely to promote JYJ’s upcoming world tour. I wanted to help foreign fans receive news about JYJ and encourage more to attend their concert to experience for themselves how talented and special Jaejoong, Yuchun, and Junsu are.

The World Tour has now officially ended and a decision had to be made. For a while I considered closing down the site completely, but I felt that would be inconsiderate for those that showed so much support in what I was doing… However, I also knew that it would be impractical to assume that I would be able to keep running the blog at the current pace.

After much deliberation, I’ve decided to keep the blog runnning with some important changes.

Starting today, the blog will transform into my “personal” blog. This doesn’t mean “withJYJ” will become a site for my personal random rambles. The blog will remain dedicated to JYJ and I will only upload JYJ-related posts (including translations). However, I will be a bit more “selective” in what I choose to upload. Because of the time constraints I will soon be facing, I will no longer feel obligated to upload ever single news/photo taken. In short, I will only upload news/pictures/videos/etc. that make me so excited that I have to “run with it” and express my love for JYJ. ^^; Furthermore, because withJYJ will become a “personal” blog, I will be a bit more “free” in what I choose to say. You can assume that my “filter” has become a bit less selective and I will be less restricted in expressing my personal opinions. Finally, because of such changes, certain posts will be marked “DO NOT RE-UP/MOVE THIS POST.” You will be free to share the link of such posts, but please refrain from re-uploading the post on other sites, such as other wordpress blogs.

I felt the changes I listed above were necessary to keep the blog running. What will remain unchanged, however, is my love and support for JYJ. :)

Because after all, “in the end, it’s JYJ!!”

[Audio+Trans] Yuchun and Yuhwan’s “bee incident”

Yuhwan – When I was six, I was playing with Yuchun in the grass, and Yuchun was catching bees with a plastic bag. But I guess he was failing~ so he asked me (and I was only six) to catch it with my bare hands. So I did and got stung T_T~

MC – Really? Oh no!

Yuhwan – (to Yuchun) why did you make me do that?

Yuchun – I really wanted to catch a bee. But wait, I told him to catch it, but I never expected Yuhwan to actually catch it with his hands~ He really did get stung by catching it with his bare hands~ [his hands] go swollen like this big!

 

LOL, Yuhwan obviously didn’t forget about the bee after all these years~

This is just one of the many cute moments from yesterday!

[Fan Account] Transcripts of JYJ’s Last Words at White Day

After the members sang Fallen Leaves they held an impromptu session in which they talked in depth about their feelings as goodbyes. The below is a translation from the transcription done by a fan who was at the event.

Jaejoong:

We…

Ah, thank you.

Today, it was supposed to be us just going inside after this ending song (T/N: Fallen Leaves)

But, probably, those people who are in the console are also flustered too—

“Why aren’t they going in…”

We thank you all, we can’t express (how much) in words.

Thank you.

Today, the JYJ White Day—this title was created by Yoochun.

We… we are so thankful that you came, and those who couldn’t come because they didn’t win the lottery…

(T/N: Fans scream to correct JJ—“(It’s not a lottery, it’s) Ticketing! Ticketing!”)

If there are any fans who could not come today,

Please relay to them for sure that it was really fun and good times. We actually had thought that the venue was going to be a place bigger than this stadium. We want to see more of you… but we couldn’t (spend today) together, so we are so sorry—please tell them that (too).

 

 

Yoochun:

Fallen Leaves is a good song, huh? This is a song which we also like very much..

And you, you also healed our hearts, very much.

We are so thankful..

The name JYJ… We love it so very much… So much… we are thankful to you.

Thank you for holding us dear, so that our lives can be happy.

Yes, now it seems like our paying you back is the only step that is remaining.

We will really… try our very best, with all our spirit. (T/N: literally, “run”)

 

 

Junsu—and Jaejoong

Junsu:

Ah… umm… I am so thankful…

Um…. (at this point Junsu started to audibly cry)

Thank you so much.

(T/N: Junsu gets choked up so Jaejoong starts to talk, but he also gets teary)

 

Jaejoong:

We are sorry. Right now, these words… we are giving them to you so suddenly (T/N: The  members had not planned to have time to say these words at the end. As Jaejoong said above, they were supposed to go inside right after they finished Fallen Leaves.)

So it’s not prepared in advance… our emotions therefore pour out first (before thought)… ah… a reaction like Junsu… I think that is just too natural.

Ah… maybe… before this, we had done (a game called) “bare your inner heart” (T/N: literally, “reveal your inner thoughts”)

If we really were to bare our inner hearts… if we do something like that, we’d have to schedule 4-5 hours and just talk. Yes, even that wouldn’t be enough…

A bit before, Yoochun said (T/N: Jaejoong slips here and uses the “polite” version of “said,” which is inappropriate for using towards his brother, Micky, so fans laugh at this point.)

We… we said this, but we are so happy, us.

It is of utmost frustration to be born as a human being yet be unable to do the things you want to do.

But… now, it is not 100% yet, but those of you who help us express ourselves more freely, even just a little,

We are so happy that those very people are in front of our eyes, in that fact itself (we are happy).

Now, we will work even harder to achieve (inaudible) to.. ah… more

(Fans scream: You can do it!)

As Micky said, we will run (towards our goals)… we have to do that.

We did the “rankings” competition before (T/N: the ideal girl contest). If you, without needing any words, could believe in us, keep us in your sight, we will be so thankful…

Today we were so thankful. The people on the second and third floor too, we were so thankful.

[Info] Compliation of Quotes/events from today’s fanmeet :D

Here’s what I’ve complied so far from today’s fanmeet in Korea today.

I’ll continue to update things that I’ve missed!

(New updates will be in blue)

 

 

From JYJ:

Boys played games of “folding newspapers” and “punches showdown~”

The boys sang Mission, Nine, Found You, Be My Girl Remix, Empty

The boys played games where they were placed into “teams” with their respective managers. JJ’s team won ;)

The boys also played “Ideal Woman World Cup” with fans, where they picked out the “ideal woman” from notes that fans left for them. They picked out fans that wrote “unique” (aka strange) comments. ^^;

The fans that got picked during the “world cup” were: 1) the fan who wrote “I will even watch porn with JYJ,” 2) “If I were to go out with JYJ, that’d be a loss for ME!” 3) “I am willing to go to the Korean military with JYJ.” The fan that won left the comment, “I believe in you and will wait for you.”

The boys gave out candy to the fans, and JS & YC put their faces to them to leave their “scent.” JJ left his “scent” by touching them.

At the end of the fanmeet, JYJ said “Thank you for waiting for us, but in order so that you don’t just wait, we will work (even) harder.”

JYJ also said that, “to live up to your expectations, they will do anything, climb mountains and cross river”

 

From Jaejoong:

Explained away his “scandals.” They were all false~. JJ said that there have been three so far and once, when he was involved in a scandal with a model, who was just his friend, he called her and asked if she saw the news. She told JJ that she’ll call him back after looking it up, but her agency called instead, thanking JJ (for the publicity). [LOL]

After last year’s concert in Seoul, JJ cried while he was holding JS and tears from JJ fell on JS’s cheek, so they cried together.

During a game of “Cham Cham Cham” [a game where person A and B take turns trying to make the other person (let’s say, person A) turn his head in same direction as person B’s hand, which is placed in front of person A’s face] JJ hit YC so hard with a squeaky hammer [a toy hammer used for games in Asia] that it broke!

JJ scored “4000” during the punching game (he punched into a punching machine that scores the power of your punch). And won :D

When asked what he thought about “Angel Xiah,” JJ replied, “It has gotten old. Stop.” (hahaha)

When asked if JJ knew that YC would win the award for “best rookie actor of 2010” in KBS, JJ replied, “of course, he’s Yuchun.”

JJ’s special guest was Kim SungSu [a Korean singer who is part of the group “Cool.” He is best known not for his singing, but his abilities as a comedian].

JJ and Kim SungSu first met at a portable road side bar (“Pocha”) in Korea’s Shinsadong (in Seoul). As a senior, Sungsu bought JJ drinks, thinking that a couple bottles would be enough. They ended up drinking approximately $300 worth of drinks that night and Sungsu left telling JJ that he had been defeated and JJ was a “super hero.”

During “Ideal Woman World Cup,” JJ announced that he no longer watches porn ^^; after picking out a fan who left a message saying “I will even watch porn with you.” The host couldn’t get over this outburst and kept at it, and JJ ended the conversation saying that his parents doesn’t let him watch it anymore. (hahaha, oh jj T_T;;)

During the “Ideal Woman World Cup” game, JJ picked the winner because he likes the phrase “waiting for someone.”

JJ asked the fans to tell all those who could not come that “it was fun & good times”! (T_T)

JJ cried at the end of the fanmeet after seeing JS cry.. T_T

At the end of the fanmeet, JJ said “It is of utmost frustration to be born as a human being yet be unable to do the things you want to do.” (ahh T_T jj…)

 

From Junsu:

“I think it’s cute how my cats only look at me. They wait for me in front of the door when I go to the bathroom.”

When JS talked about how he loved owning cats because his cats followed him everywhere, JJ asked, “don’t all cats do that to just anyone?” and JS replied, “my cats only do it to me!”

JS scored “3255” during the punching game and got the second highest score.

When YC asked JS if he wanted to switch managers during a game, JS hugged his manager and said “No!”

Apparently, JS’s manager cleans up after JS’s cats ^^;

JS’s outfit today was quite “wild” — it was a black fishnet shirt with a white shirt underneath. Apparently, both his top and pants were quite “tight.” ^^;

JS asked JJ and YC what they thought about his numerous cats. They both replied that JS was crazy. ^0^

JS’s special guest was Shin YoungSuk from Mozart.

Shin YoungSuk said that her ideal man is “Junsu forever!”

JS and his guest sang a well-known piece called “Golden Star” together.

When JS gave YoungSuk tickets for “Tears of Heaven,” she told him that she wanted to play the female lead!

Junsu’s guest said that Junsu is a genius, and that she’d like to see him perform in musicals forever.

When asked if JS watches porn, JS replied that his parents were here so he couldn’t answer;

During the “Ideal Woman World Cup” game, JS picked the winner because he is happy to have such a fan.

The host asked an older woman in the audience if she came with her husband…. but it was actually JS’s mother and father!

JS cried at the end of the fanmeet while saying his goodbye. He cried while talking about how thankful he is.

 

From Yuchun:

“Jaejoong cried while watching Tears of Heaven too!”

“I read about Junsu playing soccer on the internet!”

“I thought Junsu was a soccer player” (meaning that he was impressed by JS’s skills ^^)

YC scored only “2848” because he slipped while trying to punch the punching machine during the game!

When asked what he thought about “Angel Xiah,” Yuchun replied, “not anymore~”

YC talked about his snow-woman girlfriend and JS commented that he looked a bit sad. ^^;

YC’s special guest was his younger brother Yuhwan. When asked which member Yuhwan most wanted to be like, he picked out Jaejoong.

When describing how the YC and YH became close, YC said, “I was close to him since the day he was born because I was nice to him since then.”

When YC was young, he made YH catch a bee with his bear hands and YH got stung! YH asked YC why he made him do it.

As Yuhwan left, he said that the member he wants to be like the most is Yuchun after all. :D

During the “Ideal Woman World Cup” game, YC picked the winner because such a fan is ideal, but he feels sorry to keep someone waiting.
